WTC 2026: Custom Team Gear for Five Nations
In August we travelled to Mechelen, Belgium, for the World Team Championship 2026, the biggest international team tournament in competitive wargaming. It was our first time having a booth, and we kept it simple: one suitcase packed with our products.
We didn't sell anything on site. We just had a blast connecting with all players and seeing our gear get used in games.

Five nations, five custom kits
Before the event, we opened a limited number of slots for national teams. Each team got a kit built around its identity: a custom Battlebox with the team logo and every player's name. On top of that, each team chose whether they wanted tokens or other tools in matching colours. All made in our workshop in Stockholm.
In total, 45 custom Battleboxes made the trip to Mechelen.
🇸🇪 Team Sweden
Kits for 8 players & 4 coaches:
- 12 Battleboxes
- 12 6" combat gauges

- Battlebox with the Icelandic coat of arms
- 6" measuring tool with the Icelandic flag
- Flexible ruler combo
- Measuring sticks, full set
- 8" and 6" perimeter markers
- Deployment zone markers
- Wound markers

What we learned
Start the paperwork early. Selling at an event abroad means registering for tax in that country, and it takes longer than you think. Ours was approved the week after WTC. Next time, that's the first thing on the list.
Players want to shop what they see. The most common question at the booth was "can I buy this here?" That's a clear signal for our next event.
A giveaway starts the conversation. Entering was easy, and it gave people a reason to come to the booth.
Leave the booth and watch the games. Some of our favourite moments happened away from the booth, walking between tables and seeing our gear in real matches.
Thank you
A big thank you to the World Team Championship organisers, Veizla Gaming and Alphaspel for making this an experience to remember, and to everyone who stopped by to chat. And to the five teams above: thank you for trusting us with your gear.
