Our story

Hi there, we're Kicki & Chris, the founders of Tree of Tales. What started as a single 3D printer in our Stockholm apartment has grown into something we never imagined possible.

Chris has been painting miniatures and playing tabletop games since childhood. Kicki, a lifelong gamer in both digital and physical worlds, got pulled into tabletop gaming through Chris and saw gaps the hobby hadn't solved yet.

Our mission was clear from day one — create accessories that actually improve your gaming experience.

2023

3D printing from home

It started with one 3D printer in our Stockholm apartment. We designed tokens — focusing on the right size, shape, and readability — with one goal: improve the game experience.

In July we launched on Etsy, balancing orders with our day jobs. Late nights packing orders and writing thank you cards. By the end of the year we had a second printer and a growing feeling this could become something real.

Our Big Leap

By summer we had 6 printers and an apartment that couldn't hold them. So we made the jump — found a facility and built our own small printing factory and office.

That autumn we rebuilt our entire workflow from the ground up: order to print, assembly to shipping. Every step refined. The space gave us room to think bigger.

Professional Manufacturing

Demand outgrew what two people could handle. Erik joined the team, bringing the attention to detail needed to keep every order at the standard we set from day one.

We scaled to 30 Bambu Lab P1S printers — to serve customers worldwide without compromising on quality.

Partnerships & events

This year we stepped off the workshop floor and onto the tournament stage. We partnered with Veizla — the Nordics' largest competitive wargaming community — became the official gear partner for Team Sweden, and signed on as sponsors for Malmö Wargaming Weekend.

What started as two people making accessories for their own games is now a brand trusted by the communities that take competitive wargaming seriously.
