What is a flexible chain ruler?

A bendable measuring tool designed for tabletop miniature games. It follows terrain and corners, allowing accurate measurements where straight rulers cannot.

How flexible is it?

The ruler bends naturally to both sides from a straight position — up to about 90° in each direction per segment. It’s flexible enough to follow terrain and corners, while still holding its shape when you measure.

What lengths are available?

You can choose individual rulers from 3" to 12", a Combo Pack (3", 6", 9", 12"), or a Full Range Set covering every inch from 3" to 12". All measurements are in inches.

How is it constructed? Are the links magnetic?

Each ruler is printed as one continuous piece. There are no magnets or separate links. The flexible segments are part of the same solid print, which makes it durable and reliable even during fast-paced games.

Does it stay accurate when bent?

Yes. The ruler measures true along its full length and is designed specifically to measure movement around terrain without losing precision.

What games is it compatible with?

It works with any tabletop game that uses inch-based measurements, including most sci-fi and fantasy miniature systems. It is system-agnostic and not tied to any specific brand.

Can I choose custom colours?

Yes. You can select a base colour and a trim colour, up to two colours per ruler. All rulers are made to order in our workshop in Stockholm.

What material are your products made from?

All our products are 3D printed using PLA, a durable polyester made from renewable biomass such as corn, cassava, sugarcane, or sugar beet pulp.

Every product is designed, printed, assembled, and finished by us in our small workshop in Stockholm, Sweden.

We’re a small independent company — not mass production — and we make each item to order with care.

How long does shipping take and what is your return policy?

Shipping — All our products are made to order. Production typically takes up to 2 weeks, after which your order is shipped with a tracking number. Delivery time then depends on your location. We offer international shipping.
